Match Report – Youngs Park – League Opener vs Beccles Final Score: 1-1

Our first league game of the season saw us battle hard for a point against a strong Beccles side. After a tight opening, we took the lead through a trademark set piece – a long throw from Harry Atkins launched into the danger area and met perfectly by Rob Sayer, whose powerful header found the net.

Beccles responded in the second half, capitalising on a loose ball in the box to level the score. We kept pushing, with chances at both ends, but neither side could find the winner.

Plenty of positives to take into next week – the work rate, togetherness, and defensive resilience set the tone for the season ahead.

Player of the Match: Bailey Roger (Sponsored by – Link Foods) outstanding in goal, keeping us in the game with crucial saves.
