Celebrating Aylsham FC’s Achievements at the Norfolk FA Grassroots Football Awards 2024

We are thrilled to announce that Aylsham FC has been recognised for its outstanding contributions to grassroots football at the Norfolk FA Grassroots Football Awards 2024. This prestigious recognition highlights the dedication, hard work, and community spirit that our club embodies.

Aylsham FC – Club of the Year

Aylsham FC has been awarded the Club of the Year title, a testament to our commitment to providing a nurturing environment for players of all ages and abilities. This award reflects the collective efforts of our players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who make Aylsham FC a vibrant and thriving community. Winning the Club of the Year award is a significant achievement, underscoring our holistic approach to football. Our club is built on the foundation of inclusivity and equal opportunity, ensuring that every player, regardless of age or skill level, feels valued and supported.

Hannah Burton – Coach of the Year (Female Player Pathway)

A special mention goes to Hannah Burton, who has been named the Coach of the Year (Female Player Pathway). Hannah’s contributions have been instrumental in the rapid growth of our girls’ and women’s teams. She coordinates multiple teams, including Wildcats, U7, U9, U12, and U13, and has played a pivotal role in their development since the success of the Lionesses in the 2022 Euros.

Hannah’s tireless work has not only enhanced the football skills of our players but also boosted their confidence and fostered new friendships. Her influence extends beyond the pitch, creating a supportive and inclusive community within the club. Her efforts have seen our girls’ teams achieve remarkable success, with two teams reaching the semi-finals of cup competitions in just their second season.

Community Impact and Future Goals

The achievements of Aylsham FC and its members at the Norfolk FA Grassroots Football Awards underscore our commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive football culture. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for all players to develop their skills and enjoy the game, from our youngest Wildcats to our senior teams.

As we celebrate these awards, we look forward to building on this success and continuing to support our players, coaches, and volunteers. We are excited about the future and remain committed to creating a legacy of excellence and community spirit at Aylsham FC.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support and dedication are what make Aylsham FC truly special. Here’s to many more achievements and unforgettable moments on and off the pitch!
