🟠 Welcome to the 2025/26 Season at Aylsham FC 💙

As the new season kicks off at Aylsham FC, there’s a real sense of excitement, momentum and pride in everything we’ve built together — and everything still to come.

With over 40 teams now under the Aylsham FC banner, the club continues to go from strength to strength. We’ve expanded our Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA) offering, launched a brand new girls JPL squad, and seen fantastic growth across our Mini Kickers, Wildcats, and Walking Football programmes — making sure we’re providing football for all ages, abilities and ambitions.

⚽ Looking Ahead

Last season brought plenty of success on and off the pitch, and as we turn the page to 2025/26, we’re determined to push on even further.

With a full calendar of club events, community activity and facility developments planned, we’re working hard behind the scenes to make the football experience at Aylsham even better for players, parents, volunteers and supporters alike.

🧡 Thank You, Ian Potter

After 15 years of dedicated service, our long-standing Chairman Ian Potter has stepped down from his role at the helm of the club. Ian’s leadership, vision and tireless commitment have helped shape the club into what it is today, and his legacy is visible in every team, pitch and success story we share.

While Ian is stepping aside from the Chair, we’re very pleased to share that he will remain closely involved with club and facility management, ensuring his experience and passion continue to benefit the club as we embark on a new chapter.

💼 New Faces, Same Aylsham Spirit

We’re proud to introduce Gus Bates as our new Club Chairman. Gus brings energy, experience and a deep-rooted passion for grassroots football, along with a strong belief in what Aylsham FC stands for.

“I’m truly honoured to become Chairman of Aylsham FC, a club that means so much to so many people. At its heart, Aylsham is more than just football, it’s a family, a place where friendships are made, young players grow in confidence, and the community comes together week after week.

I want to thank Ian for his 15 years of hard work, dedication, and passion, which have put the club in such a strong position. His efforts alongside the committee have built a fantastic foundation for us all to build upon.

I’m excited to work alongside our brilliant volunteers, coaches, players, and supporters to build on the amazing spirit that already makes this club so special. Together, we’ll keep creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy the game, celebrate our successes big and small, and make sure Aylsham FC continues to be a club our town can be proud of.”

Joining Gus in key roles are three newly appointed officers for our youth section:

  • Alan Collins, appointed Club Vice-Chairman
  • David Moon, appointed Chair of Youth Football
  • Shayn Daniels, appointed Vice-Chair of Youth Football
  • Hannah Alexander, appointed as Assistant Welfare Officers

Both bring a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for player development and inclusion — and we’re excited to see their influence across the coming season.

🙌 Here’s to the 2025/26 Season

To all our players, parents, coaches and supporters — we’d like to thank you once again for being part of this incredible club. Whether you’re pulling on the boots, driving the players, washing the kit or cheering from the sidelines, you’re a vital part of what makes Aylsham FC special.

We wish every single one of our teams a successful, enjoyable and rewarding season — on the pitch and as part of the wider Aylsham FC family.

Let’s make 2025/26 another season to be proud of.
