Aylsham FC has taken a major step forward in its plans to create a larger, more practical and modern kitchen facility at the clubhouse, with the first stage of redevelopment now successfully completed.
There has been plenty happening at Youngs Park in recent weeks, with a number of important improvement projects taking place across the club. One of the biggest developments has been the installation of solar panels on the roof at Youngs Park. Like many organisations, Aylsham FC has seen rising energy costs in recent years, with our electricity bills increasing by around £4,000 per year. In response, Ian Potter has worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to secure a 100% grant to cover the cost of the solar panel installation.
As another season comes to a close, it gives us a chance to reflect on the many brilliant achievements across Aylsham FC — from individual milestones and team successes to club-wide moments that show just how much progress continues to be made.
As the season comes to an end, I just wanted to say a few words and thank everyone who’s played a part in what’s been another big year for Aylsham FC.
