Code of Conduct (Players)

Code of Conduct for Players

Players are the most important people in the sport. Playing for the team, and for the team to win, is the most important part of the game but not winning at any cost – Fair Play and respect for all others in the game is fundamentally important. As an Aylsham FC player it is expected that all players:

  • Always play the game in a ‘sporting’ manner
  • Never use inappropriate, foul or abusive language
  • Always give your best in training or matches. Encourage members of our team to do the same
  • Treat opponents & their team officials with respect at all times, irrespective of the result of the game
  • Show respect to the Match Official. Always accept their decision without protest
  • Never attempt, by words or actions (such as pretending to be injured or ‘diving’) to mislead an Official
  • Accept the decision of your Coach / Team Manager concerning team selection & use of substitutes
  • If you are unable to attend a match or training, every effort should be made to inform the Team Manger before the match or training session
  • Pay any disciplinary fines imposed by the league or the FA (that are applicable)
  • Look after your kit and return it to your Team Manager or club official when requested to do so.
